I have made some models and made them shown on the right panel.

But  nothing shown up after clicking these custom models.

PS: The model will show up if I load the model through  "File -> Import -> Import for vertex painting/big reference".

Is that because "memory management problem"?

Thank you, carlosan.

I have tried to scale up but nothing shown.

It seems have something to do with the file size or polygon size.

Whenevery you get something like that, just click AUTO-SCALE in the tool options panel. If that doesn't help, try RESET SPACE in the same panel. If neither of those work, try to scale it up manually.

Your first problem as nothing do with memory management. The models panel on the right is used for basic type of primitives that you create to be used to start a sculpt, used for a curve profile or a spline. It is recommended to keep these models anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000

polygons...

Say you need some scales for a dragon, You create the scale, decimated it down to about 10 to 15 thousand polygons... Place it in the models or spline panel to be used for a curve shape or the brush along a curve function...

I highly recommend going to the 3DC official Youtube channel and watching a number of videos there to better understand the functions of 3DC if you have not done so already.

But why put that kinds of limit on the model?

It is designed for a function and recommended use... Every piece of software does this, designing for a function. These models are placed inside of the 3DC folder system.

Once you have a scene open, use the import tool to bring in higher polygon models you created or Drag a model file into the viewport or right click on the layers panel choose import or choose to import a 3DC file.

What you seem to desire is a model browser(with model icons) for higher polygon models to be placed in the scene. That would not be a bad idea so we could simply drag and drop from the model browser. The import panels would pop up like they do now if we simply drag a model into the viewport of 3DC.  That really would be nice.

and again if you have not gone here yet, AbnRanger has made many good tutorials on the functions of 3DC...
