More great materials Michael, picked up a few more sets at the Xmas prices :).

I realise this is probably not the right place, but I'm still having issue with paint quality and I'm sure you must know what I'm doing wrong (I'm a beginner). Take a look at this screenshot: http://imgur.com/jvqhzd4

I start up 3DC, select "Paint UV mapped mesh" and select the webcam looking object. When looking at smart materials in the preview window, everything looks extremely high quality, however when I go to paint, the quality (although good), does not have the same resolution as the preview.

Made some tests on this issue.

It gets exactly the same when you paint at 8k!!!

I have been painting 8k in all of my projects so i never encounter this one.

On my gtx 470 i can only paint 4k max , on 970 and 980 i can go up to 16k.

Yes exactly , talking about the UV size.

Ohh yes , correct ,  had the edu as well and hated the fact that 2k was the limit.

Took 1 commercial project with Edu and upgraded to PRO at once lol.

I see this happening to all materials , maybe Andrew can give us his lights here.

Lets wait a bit.

145 ADVANCE METAL SMART MATERIALS is up

After 3 continues projects with the biggest METAL factory i updated and created all the metals collections materials from scratch per clients directions.

They can

1) React to light

2) 3 Phases , Normal , 5 years later , 10 years later.

3) Scanned data where used according to clients database and translated to METAL collection.

For this one I am not sure about the final price , if i leave it as is or getting it higher , it depends on the sales , took me so much time to get it exactly where client wanted this to be.

Keep 'em coming, Michael! :good: I think I purchased just about all them and they really help extend the usefulness of the Smart Materials in 3D Coat. The default ones are OK, as a start, but not nearly extensive enough for such a powerful toolset.

I personally am waiting for a brick and stone collection. Should really round out the whole set, IMHO. Thanks for all the hard work put into this and for making them affordable for everyone.

Much appreciated for the support Riddell , unfortunately he has some problem with paypal if i remember correctly.

Fortunately i was going to set some demo materials for free either way , too many things to deal with (luckily) so i do stuff with a bit of delay.

Thank you very much for the kind words much appreciated.

Those collections are not even the 1/10 of what i have so far.

My job allows me to create more than 50 materials (so i can work and paint) per day at a normal day.

Since last month on work we are working on an experimental way 10000% photorealistc way of creating textures and PBR materials.

Its more than 90% pipeline down so i will start posting materials made with this pipeline asap.
