Member Turner Posted December 24, 2015 Member Share Posted December 24, 2015 Another noob q! I tried the "E-Panel" to be able to paint specific polygons on the included robot model. However, I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to select multiple polygons and save them to a group. For example, the "swiss cheese" armor on the back of the robot's hands - I'd like to carefully select and group all the polys and then paint it, rather than carefully painting one poly at a time. Also, I'd like to be able to go back later to one of these groups to continue with weathering, etc. I know this may be a basic thing but I couldn't find a reference to doing it, and am not sure what it's called (if it's available!) thanks, Andrew
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted December 24, 2015 Contributor Share Posted December 24, 2015 Using seams is the easy way to isolate an area for painting, You can also paint on convex or concave or use the Freeze tool to mask areas for painting, You can save the selections.
