Member Nidhogg Posted January 27, 2016 Member Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 Hi there, is it possible to transform multiple layers at the same time, Im in the position that my model is too large, not in polys, but it is exceeding the ground plane. Contributor Solution Michaelgdrs Posted January 27, 2016 Contributor Solution Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 Yes , make a new layer , empty , parent all the rest on the new layer and scale the new layer.
Member Nidhogg Posted January 27, 2016 Author Member Report Share Posted January 27, 2016 Thank you. Is there a quick method of doing this or is it always best to have a base parent layer at the start of each project?
Contributor Michaelgdrs Posted January 28, 2016 Contributor Report Share Posted January 28, 2016 It depends , you can start with a base layer and adding them there , if you have a submarine with lots of parts for example it will work well for your needs. When you import you can check 1) Import to separate instance so its gets them parented automatically. (3d model with multiple parts will go all as childs on one layer) 2) Import as child so it gets it parented to the existing layer. (gets the imported model as a child)
