Member esskay Posted June 2, 2016 Member Report Share Posted June 2, 2016 Hi all, Working through the features of the software slowly... most things are pretty intuitive and the documentation is clear. However when exporting a retopo object from the paint room the export pop up gives me the option of a mid poly or a low poly export. What is the process if i want to export the painted retopo object as is? I must be missing something............. On a more general note has anyone got any tips for optimising performance on low powered hardware. I notice voxels take a hit and surfaces fare surprisingly well but is there anything else i need to look out for? Anyway here is a quick sketch. Fun getting a feel for the sculpt tools. Regards. Advanced Member arumiat Posted June 4, 2016 Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 4, 2016 - I always export low-poly with textures and this seems to be your original retopo object, not sure what the midpoly is for. - for performance one thing In sculpt room -> (top menu) -> 'Geometry' -> 'CUDA smooth boost' which helps if using Nvidia CUDA Looking nice, glad you're enjoying it
