Member mkdm Posted September 30, 2016 Member Share Posted September 30, 2016 Hi 3DCoat team, I'm running latest version 4.7.06 and latest beat 4.7.11. I need to "Export Objects & textures" to "Thea Render" but there isn't any specific preset for it. Some times ago I watched a tutorial of "The Substance Thea Converter" but I never used it, so I don't know... Can you help me ? Thanks and have a nice day. - Marco (mkdm)

I already knew that video, but it's cumbersome procedure... I'm wondering why there isn't yet specific a preset for "Thea Render". It would be a very useful thing, considering that Thea Render has gained much popularity in the last two years. Nice day, - Marco (mkdm)
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted October 2, 2016 Reputable Contributor Share Posted October 2, 2016 A Preset isn't going to do anything differently than what you saw in that video. It's just going to output the maps you need to use for your render engine. It's not going to set your materials up for you, like the 3ds Max applink...which does have a Thea preset. That was because the applink developer spent a lot of his own time adding presets. Most applink developers haven't gone to such lengths.
