Huge THANKS to YOU all who , helped , contributed , supported , to the early BETA users , the beta testers , our families for their support and love through out the extremely hard road of development.
 
My personal goal is to get as much compatibility as possible with 3D Coat  (3D COAT MANIAC) , working , researching , experimenting new possible ways of achieving this.

Setting can also be altered via the interactive weathering panel and when a new material

IMPORTAND now GPU and CPU can be manually cull off by just pressing the middle mouse button MMB (1.0.29)

Greetings Karsten , 

this one was created at the same time with the water paint mask based on your feedback / request.

BUT we can only create it as a shader water type , almost ready to be precise. 

 

In order to make the same thing with the real 3d water existing in IL is a totally different story.

hey, I wonder, if this is a free update?

 

I bought to Pro version  (pre release version) already - do I need to buy the "1 year of updates" license, too?

Or will I get updates like for 1 year, after I bought Instant light pro initialy?

All PRO and INDIE bought while Instant Light was in BETA are FULL PERPETUAL LICENSES AND  FULL UP-GRADABLE UP TO V 1.99/

Tiff is already supported , Advance Core is Metal / Roughness (use the export plugins for 3D Coat , Quixel and Substance Painter ) , rest of the shaders are in the spec / gloss.

 

Basically what ever you through to it , it will make it work and thats thanks to its smart texture conversion system while importing.

Please check my screenshot.

On the left is my folder in total commander. As you see it has tga, tiff and jpeg files.

 But file viewer in IL shows only jpeg

I  see , thanks for reporting , will check it asap and fix it on the next release. It can accept , jpg , png , tga , and tiff , we must have left the tga and tiff off on this update from the browser . Jpg and png was tested by me personally . When you get bugs , kindly send them to support@instantlightrt.com so we can track them and put them on the bug to fix list.

Deal. Will do.

I just looked again and still cant find where can i put spec/gloss. Advanced/core shader has only metalness. I simply want to render props/vehicles which were textured in spec/gloss pipeline. Exporting them to metalness doesnt seem possible from Painter.

IL version 1.0.71.

ATM I am unable to use IL as it crashes when exiting the application forcing me to use the Task Manager to kill the IL process.

The sliders bars still keep moving whenever I move the slider bars to a new location.  

I had no problems like the above in the beta versions.

Maybe Windows 7 is getting too old in the tooth...

I did post bug reports for the prior version and is still happening in the current version.

Greetings David , 

we saw your bug list , and we send a reply , sliders cant reproduce , for closing through the inside X icon , it now clears the system RAM and GPU RAM so it may crash there  in its effort to clear them (user / system specific , we are investigating ) , you can for sure close it by the generic (windows )  window X.
