Member hisai Posted December 16, 2016 Member Report Share Posted December 16, 2016 Hello When painting multi tile mesh in paint room If you use the blurring tool at the boundary, strange edges will appear. What should I do?
Carlosan
There are several methods for padding. Please select the one closest to the expected results
Member hisai Posted December 18, 2016 Author Member Report Share Posted December 18, 2016 Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the same result was chosen regardless of which algorithm was chosen. I will attach a sample file. This data was created with 3dsmax2017 and multi-tile import was done with 3dcoat 4.710. plane.obj 3dcoat 4.710 mudbox2017
Carlosan
This is my result using version 4.7.17 plane.zip
Member hisai Posted December 18, 2016 Author Member Report Share Posted December 18, 2016 The same result was obtained with 3dcoat 4.717 on my PC. Please apply blurTool or Bleedingtool to the boundary.

Carlosan
Hi! I don't think it is related to UDIM. It is probably UV mapping problem. For example, 2 edges are separated but sharing same position on UV map or even overlapping each other a bit. Andrew
Member hisai Posted December 18, 2016 Author Member Report Share Posted December 18, 2016 Indeed, it certainly overlaps, but it is a problem with another UV tile. If you can not overlap UV with multi-tile, how do you think that there is not much use of UDIM? Also, I applied the blur tool to the same file in mudbox in the same way, but the problem has not occurred. What do you think of it?

Member hisai Posted December 22, 2016 Author Member Report Share Posted December 22, 2016 great! It is! Thank you for fixing However, I made a meaningful test on this fix. BlurTool looks good. If it is used to draw a vortex with Bleedingtool it will be like a step.
