New Member North Visual Studio Posted January 14, 2018 New Member Share Posted January 14, 2018 Hi I'm trying 3D coat in conjunction with 3DS Max 2016 and VRay. When I export the geometry with textures from 3D Coat and import it into max, is the VRay shader setup in max or do I have to create it and connect the textures ? Currently, when I import the geometry into 3ds max and use the eyedropper tool to sample the material, it creates a Standard max material. Thanks N
Carlosan
Hello When you export the object using File > Export Objects and Textures, switch on Use export constructor for per/channel packing. There is some settings of vray export workflows. Hope this help
New Member North Visual Studio Posted January 14, 2018 Author New Member Share Posted January 14, 2018 Hi Thanks for your reply. I have setup the export from 3D coat in a similar way but what I was wondering was if the VRay shader is setup in 3ds Max or if I have to create it and connect the textures to get the same result that I had in 3D Coat ?
