"Curly" UV's ?

I've been having problems when "unwrapping" certain models. For example I made a jumpsuit for a Daz model, and when unwrapped the arms

and legs curl in weird ways. It's not as bad if I cut the islands into a bunch of smaller pieces, but then I get annoying seams, flipped polys

and some parts still want to curl. The relax tool doesn't seem to be the answer, any ideas?

You can report this to Andrew (support@3dcoat.com), as I've noticed similar behavior. It's a little on the high side, in terms of poly count, but it should do a better job than that. It's always a good practice to do your UV's while the model is still in a Low-Poly state. I mentioned something about the UV unfolding in the 4.8 Beta thread, but nothing came of it. Hopefully, a few others mentioning it to Andrew will get his attention. He has a lot of irons in the fire, so to speak, so it may take some extra voices, to be heard.
