Advanced Member Dmitry Bedrik Posted April 30, 2018 Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 30, 2018 I create my own brushes. 1) I create a grid in voxel or surface mode (about 1.500.000 polygons) 2) I cut out the profile of the future brush the way I needed it, smoothed it, if necessary, so that under any shaders or matsagi the mesh was smooth 3) I'm exporting it 4) I create a brush from the 3d model, I set the resolution to 1024x1024 5) I cut off the brush so that there was no flat part, only the relief 6) And all my brushes turn out not so smooth, what was my pig. As a result, the painted parts are also not-smooth, with an incomprehensible ripple. How can this work out?

Advanced Member Dmitry Bedrik Posted April 30, 2018 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 30, 2018 (edited) I saw all this, but, for some reason, my brush with significant distortion is obtained on the output, although when viewed through an external 2D editor it is smooth. And the piece of mesh drawn by this brush is not nearly as smooth as the original model. Edited April 30, 2018 by Dmitry Bedrik
Carlosan
Check your height layer, youtube 1:48 It need zero depth information -grey 50%- around the brush shape. Change spacing values on Tool Settings. Test it with another tools.
