New Member HoustonSharp Posted May 2, 2018 New Member Report Share Posted May 2, 2018 Hey everyone, I wanted to take the RMB brush radius and depth slider, and assign it to something else (i want to use RMB for my rotate navigation, like in ZBrush). Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!
Javis
Hey and welcome! You can customize the navigation (in your case remove a current nav setting) in the top right corner of the 3D viewport. There's a button there that says "Camera", go there and then click Customize Navigation. This menu can be a bit confusing at first sight, but in your case you want to locate the RMB action and change it to what you're wanting. That is, if you want to customize just that one setting and keep all the others. If you want to go very close to ZB, in the Camera flyout, choose "ZB-like". That might be easier for you since you're coming from there. Hope that helps.
New Member HoustonSharp Posted May 2, 2018 Author New Member Report Share Posted May 2, 2018 Hey thanks, I was able to get the navigation controls to how i like them, replacing the brush radius and depth RMB command. But now i'm trying to assign that radius/depth thing to another keyboard command (shift+alt+RMB, since that's what my secondary Stylus button is mapped to). In that same menu you mentioned, i assigned "start tweak radius and depth"" to shift+alt+RMB like I wanted, but when i perform the action it still just moves around screen space. I've looked through that menu to see if "move in screenspace" is still assigned to shiftaltRMB, but it isnt. I have no idea why it's still performing that when I press my button. Any ideas? Javis
Hey! All I can think of is that there is another function for it, I would scan that menu again. Maybe there is something similar to that function?
