Advanced Member blackant Master Posted May 16, 2018 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 16, 2018 (edited) hello everyone, to dya i was thinking about this idea, wich i think could be really could to have inside the paintroom freeze by pixel intensity ! like in ZBrush when you want to create a mask from vertice color intensity (Black to white) or by vertex color, this option would help to create normal maps or glossmap over a painted texture. so it may also be interesting to think about freeze by AO or curvature map ... Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted May 16, 2018 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted May 16, 2018 Have you tried to select the black on your AO map, using the Magic Wand? You could also enable CONDITIONS > MORE IN CONVEX. Now with the Fill tool > FILL BY FREEZE or using the FREEZE Tool w a Rectangular draw mode (E-Panel w/ IGNORE BACKFACING unchecked), you should get a freezing by AO/Cavity type of result.
