Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted May 26, 2018 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted May 26, 2018 I just came across this weekend sale, by luck, as I had been looking at buying a seat of Vue Complete, hoping there might be some sale going on. It's 50% off, in case anyone else has been thinking about it. Although that weekend list doesn't show it, NovEdge seems to have everything 50% off. https://novedge.com/brands/112?ITS=NAV https://info.e-onsoftware.com/get-50-off-vue-and-plantfactory-artist-versions-available-this-week-end-only Reseller list: https://info.e-onsoftware.com/reseller?utm_campaign=Summer 2018 promo&utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-8Vo-q2Sp4RVuPYLGwqL_JewEA_V5U8tj7iwZlJtSbxdoqyT0VcwSro2V9-kGgn34GZ4ggQ In the US, I like to use MotionMedia, when I can, as they usually are about the cheapest place to buy from. And they are a little cheaper for the Vue Complete version. https://www.motionmedia.com/search-results?q=vue complete&narrow=[["Product family"%2C"VUE Complete"]]&disable_semantics=

Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted May 27, 2018 Author Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted May 27, 2018 I had an older version (Vue 8 Infinite, I think). I liked it a lot, but sold it with a license of Lightwave, it was tied to. It's pretty awesome for doing any kind of landscape, terrain and realistic clouds. Can do cinema quality clouds much faster than trying to build them in a normal 3D app.
