Member Erza86 Posted July 17, 2018 Member Report Share Posted July 17, 2018 hello 3d coat sometimes when working on retopology i found this problem, and this is my fault for not counting the edge numbers when this happen i solving the problem with semi-edgeloop method, like the image i have sent i wonder if there is another briliant and elegant method for solving uneven topology number it because my experience in retopo still at the beginner, and when i use "split ring" the edgeflow will create triangle instead quad (if the edgeflow conflict with other edgeflow)so lesser topology the better Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can reduce 3 to one to replace your edge loop area or you can strip out edges on the head to match those on the back of your character.
