New Member Abdo Posted August 13, 2018 New Member Report Share Posted August 13, 2018 Hi, I am making a game and I am thinking of my art pipeline how should it be. I am considering 3D coat for sculpting details onto my character, but I want to make sure that it will work as intended. What I thought of is using Reallusion Character Creator to create a character, take it into 3D coat to sculpt details, then back to Character Creator. I saw tutorials on youtube how to get the character from character creator in paint room, then paint the diffuse texture and the normal texture, but what I need to do is sculpt more details, so I want to get out a morph target with exactly the same mesh structure and a normal map with details. I want to sculpt the details in voxel mode or higher tesselation without losing the original mesh structure to be able to export the morph target, is that possible? Can you give me bold steps needed for that? Thanks for advance.
Carlosan
Hi. You need to import original mesh on retoporoom, transfer to sculpt room to add details and then bake highpoly mesh to lowpolt mesh. That is the common workflow.
