sculpt trough the layer and mask hide/froze in voxel

Hi, 3D Coat

i have  question about sculpting, when i use some brush like smooth, grow, or build.  The brush function just jump over the other layer (just like the image), when i work on the layer number 1 (the ant head) and begin sculpt at the edge of the mesh and very close with the second layer ( the ant eye), the second layer just flashing and get sculpted, is there a way to lock the other/second layer? so i can work the first layer without touching the second layer and both layer are visible.
and masking function not appear in voxel only in surface
