Hello
do you have multiple UVsets ?

Please check this serie

- Sidenote:

3DC has no true internal UDIM tiling creation like Maya or similar applications.

You can import UDIM as tiles " Import Tiles as uv sets"  3DC will create a UV set for each tile.

When exporting choose, " Export UV sets as Tiles" and they will be put back in a tiling order.

Hope that help

Your map needs to fit on a single tile ?

UDIM is a much easier way to UV map, as it lets you visually separate your UV groups or materials over several tiles. But saddly Blender dont support uDims.

In the images that you added there are two uvmaps sharing the same uvspace. Try modifying islands seams a little and unwrap it again.

Probably I understood.

I placed UVs in the same tile in multiple UV maps but UV island must be in a different position across multiple uv maps, is not it?

However, this problem seems to happen even when creating a new uv set in 3dcoat, how can I avoid it?

I didn't use UDIM simply because I didn't know it,so I will study. Thank you.

Just to know your workflow.

Are you importing for painting, or only for bake...

How do you export it ? Is only one model with separated mesh ? Or are several models ?

Can you share your import settings please ?
