New Member zelsphere Posted October 29, 2018 New Member Report Share Posted October 29, 2018 Ever since I bought 3d coat about a year ago it has been crashing consistently on start up. After 5-8 tries it usually starts up fine, but I'm start to get really mad at these crashes, so I'm now seeking help at the forums. Geforce driver up to date ( no matter what version it crashes ) , 3d-coat version is up to date ( no matter what version it crashes ) Anyone who can help out a poor soul? Advanced Member gbball Posted October 30, 2018 Advanced Member Report Share Posted October 30, 2018 Did you try the GL version? I've been using 3d coat for years, and recently I ran into a similar problem for the first time. The GL version loaded fine. I ended up having to roll back my Nvidia drivers based to get the DX version to work.
New Member zelsphere Posted October 30, 2018 Author New Member Report Share Posted October 30, 2018 A follow up post. I deleted all the Options xml files and also started using GL version, and no crashes so far. Thanks! I'll update the post if it happens again.
