How to retopo to an imported sphere?

I'm relatively new to 3dcoat and it's workflow for retopo.
 
I am trying to retopo my sculpt to a sphere. It seems like I could import a mesh for the retopo, or generate one and 3dcoat, but I have not had any success figuring out how to do this.
 
Importing a low poly sphere with its UV map would be ideal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
