3dcpack is only a zip file renamed, to be unpacked by 3DCoat. you could just change the 3dcpack file to .zip and then you will be able to extract them and move the content to Documents\3D-CoatV48\
even if you had a folder full of TIFF files for example (which is the only format that doesn't get replaced by a mclp file) you could drop all the TIFF files in a folder at 3D-CoatV48\textures\patterns and the folder with all those alphas would be read by 3DCoat and you don't need to manually do a
