New Member flukve Posted March 11, 2019 New Member Report Share Posted March 11, 2019 Hi, does anyone know of a way to deform a high polygon surface with a low polygon object (like a retopo object) in 3d coat? or some other function that acts in a similar way to this? Using the pose tool with a free form lattice is one way but i find it is very inexact and hard to work with. Using decimation is also kind of a way but also not exact enough. Thanks! Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted March 11, 2019 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted March 11, 2019 Conform Retopo Mesh is about the only way I know, but your aren't using the Retopo mesh as some type of control lattice. 3DCoat is just deforming both meshes at once.
