When I try to export a FBX it crash!

I have re-uploaded "3DCoat 2025.01" for Linux:
https://pilgway.com/~sergyi/links-Linux.html
Only one file has changed: 3DCoat-2025.01/LinuxLibs/libfbxsdk.so
To make FBX export/import work in your existing "2025.01", you can download the updated archive and copy only the file "libfbxsdk.so" from the downloaded version into the already used "2025.01". The new "libfbxsdk.so" is bigger than the old one.

hello, can I get a comment on this @SERGYI ?

I bought 3D Coat at release in 2024 and I was hoping I could get a build with all of the 2024 features that works on Ubuntu 24.04.
The 2025.01 build works, but my license doesn't, so I still have to use the distrobox workaround to use the 2024.06 build from February 2024

I understand that porting 3D Coat has been a monumental task, but now that you have a build that works, could you make a 2024.31 release build, like the one that is out for Windows?

Thanks

Please pardon my intrusion, but in the meantime maybe this could help:

Linux ports now only support licensing with the license file downloaded from the user's account in Pilgway's website.

Right now, it's a tad confusing since the licensing windows offers other options that no longer work. I'd suggest downloading the file and importing it with the licensing window's button.
Going, in 3DCoat to menu Help>Uninstall License will make that window available again in case it's not reachable anymore.

@Sorn thank you, I used the license file that was in my 2024.06 folder :(  and you see the result. Guess 'll try again?

EDIT: yeah no difference

pls make a functional linux build available to 2024 owners!

Yes, I'd try to download it again from the account at Pilgway's website. Maybe that'll work.

It may be that whilst we're in a period within required payments we still ought to download a new available license file to make it work.

I don't work for Pilgway so my guess is as good as anyone's. I just jumped in in case that would help a fellow user. :-)

Hello,
I was trying to change the font family on the theme but it does not show the window for selecting the font on Linux. Otherwise, Windows displays the window for selecting the font but it crashes when I choose the font. I was wondering if there is a configuration on the options presets files to set the font manually.
On the other hand, when I try to export or save a GLTF file it seems that 3DCoat creates a corrupt GLTF file because when I try to import it on another program does not do anything, Blender at least I get an error message that says: "Couldn't parse glTF. Check that the file is valid."

I don't have this in the windows menu.
The problem comes from the popup system (KDE/Fedora).
