Baking Errors

Any "errors" are not obvious in the TGA.  Show us a screen grab of the model with any 'triangles'.

They are pretty clear on the top of the bun.  Looks like it may be an ambient occlusion problem or shading option to give flat shading to the polys.

Thanks very much for responding. I don't think it's ambient occlusion, as it is a smooth domed shape being baked on to a lower poly smooth dome shape.

It does feel like a smoothing angle problem, but when setting up the bake, the smoothing angle was set to 60 degrees, which should have resulted in a smooth shape.

I did generate a curvature map. And per the recommendation of one of the tutorial videos I saw, I set it to overlay to help enhance the AO map. Could that have caused this perhaps?

Try to assign another sculpt shader before bake.
