Hi,

I have been searching for this on the forums and i couldnt find anything to solve my problem.

When im exporting my fbx object to open it on 3dmax, the fbx size is 0kb so 3dmax never open it.

I tried to export it on obj to import it on 3dmax and save later to a new fbx file, but when i try to do it it says: "Invalid Vertex index".

What am i doing wrong?

p.S. Excuse my english if i made mistakes. English is not my mother tongue.

Ok, i Had diferent materials and paint objects in my scene.

So i tried to figure it out which obj was giving me error.

I went to 3dmax and import each obj separately. And i found that one of them was giving me the error. I went to the retopo on 3dc and examine it carefuly, and i found that there was a flying polygon separated from the mess and without any meaning. So i deleted it, and i baked the paint layer again, and exported the obj.

When i finally import the new obj item... It didnt work xD

Hi Carlosan, Im using v. 4.8.32

I did my retopo manually, and i think theres not any polygon with more than 4 sides.

I started working on sculpt then i did the retopo and now im working on my paint workspace to export it.

I tried to switch the option on, cause i saw it on other topic, but it didnt work. Only for 1 layer of the paint objects layers. the others i could import them succesfully

I cant find any trouble opening on Blender as FBX.

Yes i found

- some overlapped faces on UVlayout (foot)

- There is 2 UVset named Assets (surface materials Assets and Assets1)

Try moving Islands from Assets1 to Assets

- Some seams are not necessary (arm, face...), delete it.
