Shortcut Curve Tool

It seems like the shortcuts for moving the curve nodes around are hard coded. (w=move, e=scale, r=rotate)

Does anyone know a way to change them? Because the standard transform hotkeys I am used to from other programs are e=rotate and r=scale.

Modal keys are completely ignored (perhaps because the tool makes use of them, too, but then you don't click on shift and the shortcut at the same time, so that explanation probably falls through) so I can't set up an alternate version using shift, either.

Manually editing the shortcut file didn't work, either, because the hard coded keys override anything else. So basically as soon as you click e with active Curves tool, scale will get activated.

Anyone have an idea?

Hi, some hotkey are editables but hard coded are not.

Check inside the folder

C:\Users\username\Documents\3D-CoatV48

opening the file

Options_Hotkeys.xml

at line 931 >

you can see that shortcuts.
