Member FFFlay Posted July 10, 2019 Member Report Share Posted July 10, 2019 Hey all, I'm trying to find a way to import a substance smart material (a sbsar file) into 3D Coat. I haven't been able to find anything that confirms or denies whether or not this is possible. Does anyone here know the answer? And if it is possible, how? Carlosan
Hi No it is not possible to import sbsar files. You need to export textures and use it to create a new smart material inside 3dcoat.
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted July 10, 2019 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted July 10, 2019 Because Allegorithmic is a competitor, they don't have any plans to collaborate on compatibility.

IIRC, Andrew reached out to them on this topic years ago, but they weren't interested.
