Member kritskiy Posted November 29, 2019 Member Report Share Posted November 29, 2019 Hi everyone, I own a professional license for about two years and was using it on my personal computer. I joined a company and asked if I can use it during working hours on my work PC: but they said that the software is on my name so I can't use it: it must be bought by a company and they don't want to buy it. - I wonder if their statement is true and I can't use my pro license when I work for a company? - Or these people have no idea what they're talking about and I can use it? - Or this might depend on a country? Thank you
Carlosan
Hi You can use your personal license when work for a company (i do it currently) Look as this might depend of that company. Ask company IT about soft restriction.

philnolan3d
This is like a studio I worked for where I brought my own laptop and my own copy of LightWave. They said they would really prefer if I used their computer and license. (subtly implying that I had to). So yeah, I don't know the exact reason but I believe it's a company policy issue, not a legal one.
