Custom Curve Seams

Is there a way to avoid the seam when importing custom objects for the spline/curves. I have tried the different settings for tiling when importing but I always seem to get a seam. Maybe I'm missing something? These objects where created in 3ds max and exported as .obj before importing into 3D Coat as splines/curves. I have made sure the objects are symmetrical on the top and bottom so they should tile properly, especially the straps as they are just a box.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed the braids would be an issue because of the verticies. For the stitching, I made that one in 3D Coat then exported. I'll have to check and see if there is an option to export with open ends from 3D Coat. The straps are the ones that are confusing me the most as they are symmetrical on top and bottom, and exported with open ends as an obj from 3ds max.
