Member StefanoCiarrocchi Posted February 24, 2020 Member Report Share Posted February 24, 2020 (edited) hi there i was modeling a creature using a lot of coat brush and vox layers to create the various props on the surface, but now the mesh of the body, as soon as i try to move, deform, sculpt it, creates a lot of holes and cracks instantly, as shown in the attached images. And it happen in all the surface, not only onthe chest. Sometimes undoing the operation don't work, and i have to quit 3dc without saving... Dulpicating the mesh or remeshing, or voxelizing don't work, I really don't know how to solve this problem, can someone help me? thanks in adavance... this is the mesh after exporting and reimporting it in 3dc... Member StefanoCiarrocchi Posted February 24, 2020 Author Member Report Share Posted February 24, 2020 ok, it seems that I find the way to fix this error...simply create a new vox layer, keep visible this new layer and the broken one (without all the holes and errors), right click on the new vox layer and go for "merge visible" ...it seems that all the errors are disappered... i won't close this post just because I'd like to know if someone know where this errors could be born, and to wait and test that everything goes fine with the modelling... thanks agaon anyway!
