How to 2D Paint with Brush?

Recommended Posts

  • New Member

Just wondering how I can paint on my 3d object with the brush in 2d plain, like in "Edit Projections in Ext. Editor".

The brush rotates on with the 3d object (like in picture example1) but I dont want it to do that,
how do I make the brush not rotate along the object (like in the picture example2) so I can paint in 2D?

Hope you understand, thanks for help.

Do you have the alpha brush ?

Open Brush Panel (T), press RMB over the brush and select Save to tif

The on Stencil Panels press the plus icon (+) and load recent saved brush as tif.

Switch back brush type to circle (T)

Use stencil to 2D paint over the model
