I thought it would be cool if you could render your model with post production tricks like depth of field, bloom effects, and self illumination. That way you don't have to jump directly in the game engine for the effects. It would be more realtime.

Have you tried 3D-Coat's rnder in voxel sculpting?

I will bring this render to painting mode too.
