New Member pengyu Posted July 6, 2020 New Member Report Share Posted July 6, 2020 hi, Im using 4.9.49(dx64), after I reopen my sculpt *.3dc file I got this broken voxel mesh, which happened many times before in previous versions, I would just convert it to surface layer then back to voxel to recover the form, but this time it does't work, the sculpted form is broken if I proceed with old method mentioned above. is this one known bug? and sometimes there will be some random broken voxel pieces showed up in the scene, I just convert that voxel layer to surface layer then back, those broken piece will disappear. it was expected , and doesn't bother me that much though. here is my machine spec for extra info:win10 / cpu:ryzren 1700 32gb ram / gpu:gtx1080tix2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Carlosan Posted July 6, 2020 Report Share Posted July 6, 2020 Hello For such a detailed model starting with voxel sometimes is not the best way, unless you first create a layer dense enough to be able to voxelize the entire geometry.
