Advanced Member popwfx Posted September 25, 2020 Advanced Member Share Posted September 25, 2020 Great article on subtleties of exporting objects to Unity . The author states: Quote 3DCoat Orientation: ConfigurableTangent Space: ConfigurableMikkTSpace Bitangent Calculation: ?Additional Notes: Has a lot of options for both viewing and baking of normal maps. For sure it’s able to match Blender & UE4, so it supports per pixel bitangents, but I don’t know if the Unity preset uses per vertex bitangents or not. Anyone with the knowledge want to update him? It's great seeing 3DCoat in articles with other tools.... https://medium.com/@bgolus/generating-perfect-normal-maps-for-unity-f929e673fc57#ab02
