Member archiecb Posted December 30, 2020 Member Report Share Posted December 30, 2020 Hi, I am new to 3dcoat. However, I am autosave enabled and every time I see the autosave countdown I rush to save my file. If, for some reason I don't see the autosave countdown timer and it beats me to saving then 3dcoat gets the spinnning wheel of death and then crashes. Any help is much appreciated. Archie My laptop specs are as follows: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8 GB
Carlosan
Hello ! Are you using latest version 4.9.68 ? Please send any support-related questions to Sergii Kryzhanovskyi atsupport.linux@3dcoat.com Thanks ! -------------------------------------------------------- macOS 11 Big Sur [4.9.68]: http://www.pilgway.com/~sergyi/3DCoat/3DCoat-4.9.68.dmg "3DCoat" for macOS has been signed and notarized with Apple. Ensure to check "System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > click the "lock" > select "App Store and identified developers". When only the "App Store" is selected an error message is displayed "3DCoat-4.9.xx.dmg" can't be opened because it was not downloaded from the App Store. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the App Store.

New problem is how do I migrate my customised UI, hotkeys etc. Definitely took a lot of time to change what the mouse did to suit Blender etc. Thanks again.
