Carlosan
This video shows the process of creation a still life artwork from scratch using various tools available in 3DCoat 2021. The program allows you to create everything from start to finish without leaving 3DCoat (except Ray Tracing rendering, which is still in progress for now).

Advanced Member iRadovsky Posted July 1, 2021 Advanced Member Share Posted July 1, 2021 (edited) Hi! I just wan to know how make crisp edges in low poly modeling with live smoothing? I Rhino 7 , for example, while modeling in sudivs I can select some edges and just make them crisp - so subdiv smoothing is not applied to this edges Edited July 1, 2021 by iRadovsky
Contributor poeboi Posted July 1, 2021 Contributor Share Posted July 1, 2021 @iRadovsky hope this can help, Here is a simple model in modeling room, it has sculpt mesh sync turned on but without subdivision for now. Subdividing it, it will look as how you expect, all smoothed one iteration In retopo room, under tweak, you have the tool "sharp edges" Here, I shift-LMB clicked a loop with this tool, to mark the edge loop as sharp. "Sharp" edge appears blue/cyan in the viewport, this is true for imported models as well. Lastly, in model room again, subdividing this time produces a sharper edge and geometry to accommodate sharp edge, where the sharp edge was marked
