Member mattaudio Posted June 6, 2021 Member Report Share Posted June 6, 2021 This should theoretically speed the workflow because we don't need to create a low poly, bake a normal map,optimize 3dmodels etc. but we still need UV maps for Hipoly models. I cannot find any practical solution especially for hard surfaces other than retopology and tedious recreating of bevels and UVs which negate the purpose of this workflow. EpicGame stream said that they are still evaluating different workflow. I was wondering how 3Dcoat could come to the rescue because 3dcoat has often found some creative solutions to resolve problems.
