Super Relax is just what surface mode needs to even out weird lumps and such caused by local tessellation.  Now..unfortunately it isn't practical to use because any area occluded by another cannot be super relaxed without some weird artifacting as seen in the image below.  In voxel mode u can hide part of the mesh as a work around but in surface, hide and masking does not solve this so to my knowledge there is no work around.  Let me know if I've missed something, I'd love to use this tool!

Agree so much, if that wasn't an issue Super Relax would be the perfect smooth tool.

ye, it sounds minor, but Super Relax would be a a game changer in surface mode because cleaning the bumps out of the varied tessellation of local subdivision is holding back this format for sculpting.  I just use Voxel mode, which super relax is more useable because u can hide areas when this artifact occurs as a workaround.
