Tip: Retopology and uvs in 3DC by Jaakko Saari

Before I had problem that when I imported part modelled in other application to 3D-Coat that part appeared grayed out and I wasn't able to touch it. It seemed "locked", like it's out from my reach.

Friendly guys in 3DCoat forums pointed out that retopology objects are based on UV-sets so the issue here was that I had two separate UV sets - the one I imported somehow became separate one. (Case-sensitive naming perhaps?) So I could move the imported object's UV-set to the Default one and I was all set.
