Oh so you have to wing it :(

Alright I have a few questions. I was reading on the forums about a Unwrap tool for 3D Coat what is this? and is it necessary ? Also what is a VS Model in 3D Coat?

PS. The email notification of replies doesn't appear to be working.

Unwrap is for laying a model out flat as a UV Map, like pelt mapping in some other UV editing programs. That you can find in the current manual which, I believe, installs with the program. VS is Volumetric Sculpting, aka Voxels.

Have you seen the new video manual for voxels? I think Javis did a great job with it.

Thanks Phil, much obliged. :)

Taros, I'm sure eventually it will happen, but not just yet. That's an even bigger task, and I've got a lot on my plate at the moment. ;)

I linked to them on CGTalk and that thread is quite popular already. 667 views.

I have to admit though, you ended a couple of the videos with something like "and there you have it." But in my head you were using a pirate voice and saying "and thar she be.".

LOL!!

Maybe next time I will do that! :D

That's funny. I'm trying not to say stuff like that much now, I can't help it though lol... Now when I say it, I edit it out. ;)
