Member z01ks Posted December 15, 2021 Member Report Share Posted December 15, 2021 Sometimes I'd like to be able to extract a flat piece of geometry from my sculpt and keep refining the shape, smoothing the piece etc, and not worry about the edges, and then re-extrude it later to get back the thickness. Yousung was awarded the badge 'Helpful' and 1 points. There are 'Vox Layer' and 'Coat' tools. New objects can be covered by surfaces while preserving the original mesh.
