philnolan3d
I wanted to make a square brush because it's difficult to paint in sharp corners or along straight edges, so I thought I would just edit the hard-round brush that 3DC comes with and save that separately. But you apparently can't edit that one, or any of that main group of brushes shown here: So if I just want the shape that will work for everything, do I just make the shape on one layer, then duplicate the layer a few times and give each the appropriate name? Advanced Member Oliver Thornton Posted May 29, 2009 Advanced Member Share Posted May 29, 2009 Hi Phil, Fast answer: yes. Export one of the other (ie not one of those defaults; pick one of the more detailed ones) brushes and save a copy. Then edit to your heart's content. Another way is to use a 3d cube object (obj or lwo I think) as your brush, that way you can control the amount of rounding/bevel on the cube brush. Cheers, -Oliver
philnolan3d
Thanks, that's a good point about the cube.
