Is there a way to change the angle of the light source for texture light baking tool? I never figured this out ever since I can only move it along the horizontal axis and always coming from the front(red arrows), side or back. I want to point it downward(green arrows) so that the backside is not so dark.

I tried it but it seems light scattering is not supported when baking. Must be a bug.

The baked result looks very dark without light scattering.

Edit: lightscattering works as long as the light angle is not 90,  180 deg

if bake is too dark try modifying setting intensity.

You also could try Light Baking Tool >  Light and Reflections in flat shading mode.

It picks up any light you have set up in render room, including environment light.
