New Member maxon Posted May 9, 2022 New Member Report Share Posted May 9, 2022 Hey there! I decided to download newest version of 3d Coat 2022, ever since I moved on from 3D Coat 4.9 I've been experiencing symmetry issues when drawing vertex lines in paint mode. It's weird cause when painting with brush everything works fine, as soon as I try to draw vertex lines/curves symmetry gives some random jagged results. Sometimes it'll work and then skip a line or completely ignore the other side. I'm absolutely sure that the model is fine, because as soon as I open the model in 4.9 everything works fine (I should mention that I was using DX version while 2022 only has GL one). How can I fix this??
New Member maxon Posted May 9, 2022 Author New Member Report Share Posted May 9, 2022 Tried GL on 4.9 and again it works fine so I guess it's not due to this.
New Member maxon Posted May 9, 2022 Author New Member Report Share Posted May 9, 2022 (edited) Apparently it does this with imported object. For example I tried the line drawing on 3d coat default head, it works fine. Exported the head and imported back in 3d coat, stopped working correctly. Advanced Member Elemeno Posted May 9, 2022 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 9, 2022 symmetry isn't taking depth numbers into factor when sculpting for example im using flatten 4% on one side and the other side is 100% using 2022.
