Member Starship3D Posted May 16, 2022 Member Report Share Posted May 16, 2022 I know this is a basic question, but I've searched on google and on here, and also looked in the folders that come with 3d Coat, but just find, .json or .xml files in the stencils/alphas folder. if I have a basic black and white shape in photoshop, how do I turn that into a brush or stencil and get it into 3D coat to be used? Carlosan
Hello Open Stencil panel and press the plus icon. Or drag and drop the image to select popup import options. - Create New Folder - Add New Stencil

Does it have to be a certain format?
Solution Carlosan Posted May 17, 2022 Solution Report Share Posted May 17, 2022 Just select your .jpg/.png B&W pics, yes.
