Tiling brush?

Is there a way to apply a brush alpha to a voxel surface, so it tiles? So the image is applied and snaps to the next width/height over and is applied again? I've been trying to use the dotted stroke and varying the spacing, but I was wondering if there's a more straightforward way that tiles the brush.
