New Member ice man Posted July 16, 2022 New Member Report Share Posted July 16, 2022 (edited) Hi, I recently uninstalled and re-installed 3d coat, but now I am unable to see stencil icons even though I can use them. Here's a screenshot of the problem: Edited July 16, 2022 by ice man

Could it have any relation to the error "Unable to write file: data/ToolPresets/VideoHints.txt " which appears when I start 3DCoat? This hasn't affected my work anyhow but I'm starting to wonder if this has something to do with the missing icons.
Solution Carlosan Posted July 17, 2022 Solution Report Share Posted July 17, 2022 Is the OS windows ? Your local user is Administrator ? Try executing 3DC as administrator. or installing again as Admin.
