[Solved] Can someone explain to me as to why the Snake Tool is cutting away at my mesh, instead of doing as it is intended?

I am trying to figure out why the snake tool in 3dcoat is removing mesh instead of adding it, has anyone else had this problem?

In the voxels space the Snake tool has the option to invert the tool from the top menu strip, which is like pressing the Ctrl key. Or from the brush's tool options panel you can have voxHide enabled, which will also hide your voxels. Are either of these options enabled?  That's all I can think of that would result to what you are describing.
