New Member bloopp Posted September 19, 2022 New Member Report Share Posted September 19, 2022 Hey! I am experiencing a problem when texturing this mesh. I sculpted it in 3dcoat and then took it to zbrush and decimated it using decimation master. Then I took it back to 3dcoat for texturing and I used automapping for the UV when importing. The problem I have is that when using the Brush tool for texturing, I am experiencing these triangular artefacts. If I use the fill entire layer option, or a marquee tool, I don't have any artefacts. Everything seems to work as expected, except for the brush tool. If I use the brush tool to go over an area multiple times, the artefacts go away. The geometry is triangulated and seems to be corresponding to the artefacts. If anyone is willing to look at the file, here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/174xekpkiwswnbc/question mesh.3b?dl=0 Thank you so much for any help :))
Carlosan
Hi Your model is out of 0,0,0 Global space Is very tiny And have lot of overlapped faces, look as separated faces. Try to scale before import to use all the grid space and create better UV set with less islands Hope it help
