whats you best way of sculpting hard surfaces??

well... sculpt hard surface is not the best way to achieve sharp edges.

I use sculpt step to create fast sketches focusing on shapes and proportions, and then retopo or subd modeling using that shape as base to create final models.

Vox Hide keeps the edges quite sharp. For secondary details, hard surface brushes on a dense mesh should work OK.

But I don't know what's your workflow, not sure vox hide + brushes may apply in your case.

im more curious what your workflow is...

how would you do Armour for example.. im looking to smooth everything out but has a nice crisp edge...

alot of the tools i use destroys the shape of my mesh ...
